Freedom through the neck, shoulder and back.
How would the reduction of excessive aches, pains and stress on your neck, back and shoulders feel like, when working with a screen, when you get up from a chair or when you walk?
I believe that life can be well lived with no aches and pains and reduced tension anywhere in the body. You might ask the question but how to I do that? Well ....
This Powerful course aims to:
o Reducing excessive tension in your neck, back and shoulders
o Finding ways to be more comfortable when working with a screen for longer time
o Learning about moving your whole self when doing the activities you love doing
o Finding inner connections with self so that you become more skillful through all moments in life.
About the lessons
The lessons are based on the Feldenkrais method® which uses novel, non-habitual movements (mostly performed lying) that work with the nervous system to awaken the body’s capacity to improve and change.
By learning how the parts of your body are connected to each other and with gravity you can discover an easier, more graceful and more powerful way of moving.
In Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons, the teacher verbally guides you through a sequence of movements aimed at uncovering your natural ability to move with ease and grace. Anyone, regardless of age or physical condition, can benefit because the emphasis is on learning about your self from yourself.
Whether you are looking to ease pain and stiffness, improve your athletic abilities, or simply find grace in your movements, the heart of the Feldenkrais Method® is about discovering more possibility in your life.
Each Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lesson is different and guides you to access your inner intelligence towards creating new pathways to explore and enhance your experience of yourself in movement.
